PAYOXY (EPOXIDISED SOYBEAN OIL)
- Raw Material – Refined Soybean Oil + Formic Acid + Hydrogen peroxide
- Oxirane Values – 6.2/6.5/6.75
- This is type of bio based Light coloured secondary plasticizer , manufactured through the
process of Epoxidation.
- It is used as a plasticizer & stabilizer both and it also works as an internal lubricant, UV
stabilizer& Processing Aids.
- It is Bio-degradable , eco-friendly, renewable and cost efficient but partial replacement of
all other plasticizer in PVC compound and other applications.
- Excellent heat and light stability.
- Due to very high molecular weight makes it Low migration & less volatile and not easy to
extract, but low compatibility compare to other plasticizers.
- PAYOXY improves adhesion, Toughness , Gloss and Chemical resistance.
